Make a Face!

changing-facesBeing able to understand one’s own feelings and the feelings of others is important in the early years. Children who are able to do so are often able to calm themselves down more quickly when they get upset, form stronger friendships with other children and generally have fewer negative emotions.

Thanks to the good people at mrprintables, you can introduce your pre-schooler to emotions using this interactive DIY board with changing faces made from simple materials. Best part about this DIY board is that you can create a variety of emotions together with your child!
